Writing a bill of sale is not as complicated as it may sound. So lets make sure we get it done and do it right.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer or you can handwrite on paper(please make a copy for your records).
  • Vin number information
  • Model number
  • Make of vehicle
  • New owner information
  1. Step 1

    Gather up all the information that you need Vin number, make, model, year , and new owner information (name, address, phone number,)and the amount of the sale transaction.

  2. Step 2

    We are ready to start writing the bill of sale. First lets start with you name address contact information (per you discretion). Next you need to indicated the Vin information , make , model, and year. Now put to whom you are selling the vehicle to and the amount of the sale.(If you want to add details such as : the sale is as is , no warranty, sale is final ,etc.). Please make sure you do two signature lines and you and the buyer both sign on the appropriate line and date. Make sure you seller and buyer both have copy' s.

  3. Step 3

    Now you have completed your bill of sale. Please make sure you keep a copy of this for your records.
