First decide where you are going to have your outside garden “space”. This will give you the area that you can start working around. This will also help you start a budget for you outdoor space.

Second, decide what you want. Example, if you want plants, go to Home Depot or Lowes they have experts on staff to help you select the perfect plants for your region.

Third, think about what you want the space to be used for. If you’re creating the space to have a place to spend time with your grandchildren-consider an in-ground pool or swing set. If you thinking of it as a gathering place for your large family, think about seating and cooking out. If it a quite space used for “me time” remember to add some of your favorite things.

Lastly, don’t allow the space to place become too “busy” make sure you have plenty of space. Don’t squeeze too much in a little space.
