Things You'll Need:
- Berries, about 1 pint for two servings
- Store bought biscuits
- Whipping cream, 1/2 cup for two servings
- Sugar, 2 Tablespoons
- Lemon or Lime juice, 2 Tablespoons
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
-
Step 1
Bake store bought biscuits according to the package directions or purchase some already made. I like to make them myself, but this is an easier version. They make wheat versions if you want to add a little "healthiness" to the biscuits. Any type/brand is fine.
-
Step 2
Depending on what type of berries you purchased, clean and slice. In the picture and this version, I used 50% blackberries and 50% strawberries. I sliced the strawberries and cut the blackberries in half due to their large size. Put berries in a bowl.

Step 3
Sprinkle about 2 Tablespoons lemon or lime juice and 1 Tablespoon sugar over berries. Mix with spoon.
-
Step 4
For the cream, beat cream until thick. Add 1 Tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Be careful not to overbeat. If you would rather purchase cream and skip this step, go for it- I just prefer homemade because it tastes so much better.

Step 5
Slice 2 biscuits in half. Place half of berries and cream on bottom half of biscuit. Repeat with second biscuit. Place tops of biscuits on top of cream. Serve!
