Easy and effective method for removing wax from carpet and clothes

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hair dryer
  • Paper towels
  1. Step 1

I prefer this method because there is less chance of getting burn from and over heated iron. This is a good method of removing wax in hard to get to places. First remove as much as possible of the harden wax from the carpet with your fingers as you can. Next get any good paper towel and a hair dryer.

  2. Step 2

Get any good antsorbant paper towel and a hot air hair dryer. Turn the hair dryer on to the hottest setting and aim it toward the wax. Heat the wax until it begins to melt. Be carefull not to touch the hot wax with your fingers or the tip of the hair dryer.

  3. Step 3

Blot the heated wax with the paper towels. And repeat until all the wax is gone. Place the paper towels with the wax on it in a plastic bag to avoid getting it back on the carpet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be very carefull to avoid the surface of the hair dryer to prevent bruns
