You'll learn how to effectively apply self tanner lotion or spray so that it looks even and natural looking without looking streaky and blotchy in the summer months!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • moderately priced self tanning lotion or spray
  • loofah
  • soap
  • water
  1. Step 1

in the shower or tub, use a loofah or body buffer on any skin you wish to tan. Make sure you purchase a separate tanner that's specifically made for faces. Wet down legs or arms and use a loofah to buff away dry, dead skin. Results work better if you are freshly shaven.

  2. Step 2

Dry legs and arms, but don't let them get too dried out.

  3. Step 3

Using a lotion, put a generous amount in your hand and using small, circular motions, start at the bottom of the leg and move up the leg, making sure to cover all surfaces evenly. Be very sparing around feet, ankles, knees and elbows. When using a spray, mist evenly and then just use the circular motion with your hands to spread it around evenly.

  4. Step 4

    Allow to air dry.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you do not touch any towels, clean linens, or clothes, as wet lotions and sprays will stain!!
  • Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water because your palms WILL be tanned as well!
