How to Make a Knot Blanket

Things You'll Need:

• 2 - 2 yard sections of fleece with the salvage removed.

1. Place your 2 pieces of fleece on a flat surface. If you are using Fleece with a design make certain you have the right side of the design on top.

2. Pin the 2 pieces of fleece together this will keep you from having an uneven blanket when you finish.

3. At each corner cut a 4" x 4" square, next go around the sides, top and bottom cutting strips that will become the knots. The strips should be approx 3 inches deep by 2 inches wide or whatever is comfortable for your hands.

4. The knots can be tied 2 different ways; they can be made by tying the upper and lower piece of fleece together as if you are tying shoes. The second way to make the knots is to take the upper and lower strips of fleece make a loop and pull the pieces of fleece through the loop. I think this makes a stronger blanket.

5. Once you have all the knots in place you will have a blanket anyone will love to have.
