I was so devastated... I was found by the perfect kitten, I wasn't really looking as my older female cat Blue had been with me for the last 18 years, but I knew her days were numbered, she got real lethargic and the perfect 9 month old female Bombay Cat presented herself to me.

I thought she would bring life back to Ole Blue so I introduce you to Neko... The scatter cat. Who knew that 2 female cats a decade apart would fight for territory. Thankfully it was only the new cat that decided to pee on everything,(definitely marking behavior).

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large bottle of Hydrogen peroxide.
  • Large container of Baking Soda
  • Liquid Hand Washing Dish Soap
  1. Step 1

Of course the best is if you can catch the accident immediately but this will also work on the ones you didn't catch and now smell.

  2. Step 2

Immediately create in a spray bottle a mixture of 4 parts peroxide, a table spoon of dish liquid and 5 tablespoons of Baking Soda. Mix well and begin spraying liberally on stained or sprayed area.

  3. Step 3

Once area is soaked, sprinkle more baking soda on area and pat into.
Then just leave to dry for a minimum of 6 hours.

  4. Step 4

After completely dry, brush and vacuum area. Odor is forever gone!

    Live life odor free!

Tips & Warnings
  • The kitten who stood in front of me and peed on my favorite chair cushion as I sat on the sofa now, as I write this lays sleeping on the very same cushion. I highly suggest getting your kitten spayed or neutered as this alone has stopped her possessive behavior.
