Cabbage is definitely good for you obviously, and with the following recipe will balance out the blood sugar in you and the way to do that is to pair it up with chicken. In fact the antioxidant sulphorophane in the vegetables the selenium in the chicken (which you can also substitute with either beef or chicken for the vegetarians) are absorbed better when they are paired together.   • 2 pound chicken tenders (or beef or mushrooms)
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 2 cups of sliced up cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon sliced chilies
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce

      The first step is to put the tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and heat on low for 30 seconds.

      Then add the chicken tenders and cook for three minutes on medium heat.

      Then add the two cups of sliced cabbage and the chilies on the skillet and cook for another two minutes. And for the last step just add the soy sauce (to give it a little bit more of a flavor) and cook for another one minute before serving.
