Skip the hassle of making individual drinks for your next summer party or get-together. Make a pitcher of margaritas for an easy, cool, refreshing cocktail. If you want to prepare this a couple of hours before the party starts, keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready but leave out the ice cubes so the drinks aren't diluted when it's time to serve. Things You'll Need

  • 1 large can frozen limeade
  • Tequila
  • Orange liqueur
  • Lemon juice, fresh or from concentrate
  • Ice
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Coarse salt

Instructions

      Pour frozen limeade into a 2-quart pitcher. Use the empty can to measure the rest of the ingredients: 3/4 to 1 full can of tequila, 1/2 can of orange liqueur and 1/2 can of lemon juice.

      Stir well and fill the pitcher with ice. Let sit in the fridge for a bit until you are ready to serve. If it will be longer than an hour or so, wait to add the ice.

      Pour some coarse salt into a saucer when it's time to serve the margaritas. Rub the rims of the glasses with a lime wedge and dip the outer rims in the salt. Don't get salt inside the glasses.

      Pour in the margaritas and serve with a wedge of lime.

  • The tequila amount can be adjusted to make stronger or weaker drinks.
