Things You'll Need:
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Slotted Screwdriver

Step 1
Open the laptop all the way. This will allow the plastic cover to be removed from the hinges.

Take your slotted screwdriver and insert it into the gap on the top right side of the notebook as pictured. and turn the screwdriver so that the plastic cover will pop up.

Step 3
Move over to the left side of the plastic cover as pictured and pop this side up. You can now fully remove the plastic cover.

Step 4
Use the phillips screwdriver to removed the 3 screws shown in the image.

Step 5
After the 3 screws are removed you can push the keyboard towards the LCD display and pull it up slowly.

Step 6
Take your fingers and open the clip that is holding the keyboards ribbon cable in place before you remove the keyboard. Now put the new keyboard's ribbon cable into the clip and close it.

Step 7
Lay the keyboard back into place and push down on it. It will click back into place and the 3 screw holes will line up. Insert the 3 screws you took out earlier and reinsert the plastic cover (Make sure to insert the Left side as pictured first). After you hear the right side snap down into place you are ready to start enjoying your new keyboard.
