Instructions

    • 1

Run water over the underarms for a few minutes in the shower. If you are not in the shower, hold a wet rag under the arms for a few minutes.

    • 2

Apply a moisturizing shaving cream or gel liberally over the armpits.

    • 3

Hold one arm over your head. Pull the underarm skin taut with one hand.

    • 4

Using a clean, sharp razor, shave the hair off in "T" shape. Go from the top to the bottom of the pit, then right to left. Use short strokes and try not to go over the same area twice.

    • 5

Use tepid water to rinse off the remaining shaving cream, then repeat the procedure on the other pit.

    • 6

Dab your armpits dry. Don't rub the area since that could force bacteria into the open pores and invite razor bumps. Wait as long as possible to apply deodorant.
