Everyone gets ink on there clothing now and then. Kids also have a problem with this more than any one, especially when they are in school or doing art.
This is for minor to medium stains only.
severe stains may need a professional

You will learn a easy way to remove pen ink and some washable paint stains, from shirts pants or just about any fabric. This is a economical way to remove stains from every day fabrics.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stained Clothing
  • Hair spray in a pump or spray bottle.
  • You can use any type of hair spray brand names do not matter at all
  1. Step 1
    Spray fabric

    spray the ink stain with the hair spray until the stain is completely wet. It does not matter what brand name hair spray you use, they all basic have all the same ingredient.

    Let the hair spray soak on stain for 2 to 5 minutes . Sometimes you can scrub it in with a soft brush when the fabric is on an old rag because it bleeds thru, you can see the ink lifting from the fabric.

    Wash and dry according to directions.

    Wash and dry clothing as directed according to your manufactures directions. if the stain remains do not place in the dryer repeat the steps again.

Tips & Warnings
  • This works great with some markers, and washable paint.
  • Depending on the type of ink you may have to repeat the process before drying the clothing, only if the stain remains.
  • do not attempt to use hairapray on silk or 100% polyester because it will stain. It is adviseable to follow all manufactures instructions when washing all your clothing.
