Things You'll Need:
- 5 minute easy sand Durabond
- 5" drywall knife
- water
- drywall patch
- drywall tape
- sanding sponge or sand paper 120 grit

Step 1
If you hole size is 1'x1' you will need to cut a replacement piece of drywall to fit the hole. Get a small 1x1 piece of wood at least 2" longer than the hole to fit into the hole. Then place a screw on each side of the hole thru the existing drywall to hold the wood in the middle of the hole. Now place the new patch in the hole and screw to the wood in the middle of the patch.

Step 2
Now you can place drywall compound over the edges of the patch and tape with drywall tape then wipe the tape tight to the wall.

Step 3
Add aprox 1 cup of water to a drywall pan the add 5 minute easy sand durabond aprox 3 to 1 (3 being 5 minute) mix in pan with 5" drywall knife (consistency of peanut butter) then spread over tape with drywall knife covering tape and wiping edges tight. Clean pan when empty asap this will set up in 5 minutes. Repeat this step 3 times until wall is flat. You can speed up dry time with hair dryer, then sand smooth with sanding sponge(fine) or sand paper 120 grit
