If you have been shaving your head or want to shave your head, this is to help you do it cleanly, closely and safely.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Electric Hair Clippers
  • Safety Razor
  • Shaving Cream
  • Shower mirror
  1. Step 1

If you are shaving your head for the first time, you need to take the electric hair clippers and cut your dry hair as short as possible. You can accomplish this by removing any size guards and using only the clippers to shave. Use you hand to feel your head making sure you have cut all or most of your hair.
If you already have a shaved head, please move on to "STEP 2"

  2. Step 2

Run a shower at comfortable temperature, place the shower mirror on the floor under the water so its temp. will equalize with the air temp. in the shower reducing excessive clouding. Wait about 5 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Enter the shower and immediately wash all excess hair trimmings from your head and shoulders.

  4. Step 4

Lather your head with shaving cream making sure to cover it thoroughly.

  5. Step 5

Use the safety razor to carefully shave stripes on your head. Use the mirror for the detail work around the ears and face.

  6. Step 6

Use your free hand to feel your head as you shave, finding places you may have missed or need to revisit.

  7. Step 7

After completing your shave, rub soap onto your scalp and feel around for any places you have missed.

  8. Step 8

If you are satisfied with the way your scalp feels, you have completed your head shaving. Take a shower as you normally would.

  9. Step 9

Rub aftershave or a lotion of your choosing onto you head.
