Step 1
Pot of Cooked RiceFirst, prepare your rice as normal. Some people use the old fashion method of cooking rice in a regular stock pot. Some people cook rice in a rice cooker. Rice cookers will be the hardest method of burning rice, but I guess it can be done.

Burnt RiceSecondly, you notice a burnt smell from the kitchen. Oh no! ! The rice is burnt. Not to worry, go to your bread storage area and take our one slice of bread.

Next, open the pot of cooked rice and remove any burnt pieces of rice than you can visually see.

Slice of BreadLastly, place one slice of bread on top of the burnt rice. Close the lid and come back in 5-10 minutes and taste the rice. You will notice the burnt taste is gone.

Don't eat the slice of bread that was used to remove the burnt taste and smell. Discard the bread in the trash.
