        Use your BlackBerry's Help menu. Click Menu > Setup > Help. From the menu that appears, select the area of your phone you need assistance with and click. From the list of troubleshooting tips, click the problem which most closely resembles your own. Follow the troubleshooting tips to resolve.

        Troubleshoot your phone calls. Click Menu > Setup > Help. From the menu that appears, select and click "Phone." From the list of troubleshooting tips, learn how to troubleshoot your call volume, voice mail and other common issues. Click the title that most closely resembles that area of your phone calls you are having trouble with. Follow the troubleshooting tips. Fix problems making and receiving calls by ensuring you are connected to the wireless network in your area, using the proper country and/or area codes and restarting your phone to re-detect the wireless network and settings.

        Troubleshoot your messages. Click Menu > Setup > Help. From the menu that appears, select and click "Messages." From the list of troubleshooting tips, learn to troubleshoot your PIN, SMS, MMS or email message services, along with other common issues. Click the title that most closely resembles that area of messaging you are having trouble with. Fix common problems composing and receiving messages by ensuring that you are connected to the wireless network in your area, verifying that you have entered a recipient's proper phone number including area codes and restarting your phone to re-detect the wireless network and settings.

        Troubleshoot your basic blackberry operations for problems. Click Menu > Setup > Help. From the menu that appears, select and click on "power, battery and memory". From the list of troubleshooting tips, learn how to troubleshoot and change settings for power management or problems turning on or off your phone, memory available on your device, how to optimize your battery and phone use, and other common issues. Click the title which most closely resembles that area you are having trouble with, and follow the troubleshooting tips to resolve the problem.

        Visit the Verizon website for specialized troubleshooting of specific Verizon BlackBerry software (see link in Resources). Connect to the Verizon site, and select your phone from the menu or search for your problem in the provided search box. Once you select your phone, a full range of Help topics appear below. Click the genre or topic that best represents your problem and follow the instructions to troubleshoot. Troubleshoot problems with memory or function by deleting excess messages and contacts, clearing your browser cache and reducing the image quality used by your camera and browser. Restart your phone if needed.
