How to Locate Your PC's IP Address
An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a numerical address assigned by your computer or network. In the Command Prompt function of Windows, you can determine your PC's IP address.

Navigate to the "Start" menu and select "Run." In the Run dialog, type "cmd" (without quotes) and click "OK." The Command Prompt dialog opens.

Type "ipconfig /all" (without quotes). IP information consequently appears.

Scroll up and search for your IP Address and other information you need until you find it.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure you put one space after "ipconfig." Then type "/" and "all."
