How to Uninstall Programs from your Computer (On XP and Vista)

Quick, easy way to uninstall programs from your computer

Things You'll Need:

• Your computer

1. Left click on the START menu located on the left-hand lower corner of your screen. On Vista it is the Windows flag, on XP it will say START. Left click on it.

2. On Vista and XP, locate the Control Panel icon next to the Program menu. Left Click on it. It will open a new window. Let the icons load.

3. Then Scroll down until you find an icon labeled or starts with "Programs".
   Left Click on it and open it. On Vista it will say "Programs and Features". Let the list load.

4. There will be a list of programs currently installed on to your computer. Scroll down until you find the one you want to remove, right click on it and select Uninstall. It will walk your through the installation process and you may have to restart to fully uninstall the program.

Tips & Warnings

• You do not have to restart when it prompts you too. You can do it later
• You can add Control Panel to your Desktop by right clicking on it and clicking on Create Shortcut and selecting Desktop
• You can reinstall programs on to your computer anytime.
