Learn how to pick up a date at when your out with friends or even by yourself.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yourself
  • Smile
  1. Step 1

Find the person that you desire to get a phone number from so that you can either end the night with him/her or set up a date for another night.

  2. Step 2

Stand up with a strong, confident stance. Slouching omits signs of inferior and lack of confidence. Position yourself in the line of sight of your desired date.

  3. Step 3

Make eye contact several times with your subject. Make sure her/his friends aren't noticing. Friends can be a huge hurdle. Do everything you can to have your subject clearly understand that you're looking at her/him. But yet be playful and smile when you make eye connection.

  4. Step 4

If you don't like rejection, make sure you make multiple eye connections before you make an approach. If you're brazen, begin to walk up to your subject and make contact with her/him and stand 1-3 feet away from her/him. Introduce yourself by saying hi my name is... what's yours? And then make sure you ask general questions, yet making her/him laugh. Don't stay too long, and actually try to cut out early then most people would. Before you leave say something like, "Well I'm going to meet up with my friend's again, it's my buddy's birthday, but I'd love to talk to you again, what's your number, maybe I can call/text you?"

  5. Step 5

Wait for the next day before sending a text stating something like, "It was so nice meeting you last night, I had a lot of fun." "I'd love to grab lunch or a drink soon, how's this week look for you?
