How to Make Parmesan Crusted Tilapia
If you and your family are tired of the same old fish recipes, try something new with parmesan-crusted tilapia. This dish combines parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and spices to give the fish an Italian taste that will please your family. Simple to make, this recipe only takes about 30 minutes to make. Things You'll Need
- 4 tilapia fillets, 4 ounces each
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 tsp parsley flakes or dill weed
- 2 ounces lemon juice
- Salt and pepper or season all
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine

Rinse your tilapia and let the excess water drain or just pat dry with a paper towel. Place tilapia in a glass casserole dish, once water has drained. Melt the butter in the microwave.

Pour the 2 ounces of lemon juice and the melted butter over the tilapia. Make sure the tilapia is coated well with this mixture.

Season the tilapia lightly with Season All or salt and pepper depending on your preference. Make sure you season it lightly because the parmesan crusted mixture will also give the tilapia seasoning as well.

Mix the mayonnaise, bread crumbs, hot sauce, parmesan cheese and parsley flakes or dill weed in a bowl and mix well.

Cover tilapia with mixture. Preheat oven to 400 F and place the fish uncovered in the oven for 20 minutes or until brown.

Tips & Warnings
For a lighter version, omit the butter, use sea salt and light mayo or mayo with olive oil.
