Salmon is a rich, oily fish that takes well to baking or grilling.

Things You'll Need

  • Baking pan
  • Foil
  • 1 2-lb. salmon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

      Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

      Line a baking pan with greased foil. Place the salmon onto the foil skin-side down.

      Sprinkle the salmon with lemon pepper seasoning and onion salt.

      Slice the onion; place the onion and lemon slices on top of the salmon. Add pats of butter, fold the foil around the salmon and seal tightly.

      Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

      Open the foil and broil the fish for 8 to 12 minutes or until the fish flakes with a fork. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
