How to make Brussels sprouts

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups frozen Brussels spouts
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  1. Step 1

You will need a large sauce pan. You will need to heat over medium heat. You will add the water, fresh parsley, sugar, and salt to the sauce pan and bring to a boil. Then you will need to add the Brussels sprouts. You will then reduce the heat and allow the ingredients to simmer in the sauce pan.

  2. Step 2

You will need to cover the sauce pan and allow the Brussels sprouts simmer for 6 to 8 minutes or until the Brussels spouts become tender. Then you will drain. Then you will need to add the butter and heat the Brussels sprouts back up until heated through.

  3. Step 3

You can then garnish with some fresh parsley. Or you can add one can of water chestnuts that you drained and chopped into the butter before you add the Brussels back into the sauce pan. This will make them a little bit more than just those ordinary Brussels sprouts.
