Step 1
Blackhead Strips
Head down to your local drug store and pick up some blackhead strips. Blackhead strips are small thin strips with a mild adhesive on one side. You simply wet down your face, apply the strip to the problem area, wait for it to dry, then peel it off. Upon peeling off a blackhead strip you will notice a large amount of blackheads being taken off along with it. -
Step 2
Exfoliate
Use an exfoliating facial cleanser to get down deep into your pores and remove those blackheads. Companies such as Neutrogena and Biore offer excellent skin exfoliators. To exfoliate you skin, simply wash your face, gently rub the exfoliating skin cleanser into your skin, and rinse it off. -
Step 3
Steam
Steam treatment is an excellent way to open those pores and remove those blackheads along with any other dirt or oil that may be trapped in there. To perform an at home stream facial, simply take a large bowl and fill it with 3-5 cubs of boiling water, put a small towel over your head and place you face 6 inches from the water. -
Step 4
Wash Your Face Often
Remember to wash your face 2 - 4 times daily. Washing your face often will prevent any oil and dirt from building up in your pores, thus preventing blackheads. -
Step 5
Dermatologist
If blackheads persist, consult a dermatologist. A dermatologist can remove stubborn blackheads. They can also prescribe a prescription cream treatment that will prevent future blackheads for occurring.
