How to Make a Homemade Love Potion

When all attempts to lure a reluctant lover have failed, try a homemade love potion. A love potion's power is in the act of making it. While brewing the ingredients and reciting the incantation, focus your energy on your goal. Beware that while potions can be effective, they can also teach you to be careful what you wish for. You may discover that you needed a potion to bring your love to you because you aren't a good match after all.

Things You'll Need:

• Apple
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Pinch of thyme
• Pinch of rosemary
• Pinch of sea salt
• Rainwater
• Cast-Iron saucepan
• Crystal glass or vase
• Strainer
• Glass vial or jar

1. Collect rainwater in a crystal glass or vase the next time it rains.

2. Slice an apple into thin slices. Place the apple slices, rosemary, thyme, sea salt and cinnamon in a saucepan.

3. Pour the rainwater over the ingredients in the saucepan. If there is not enough rainwater to cover the ingredients, supplement the rainwater with spring water.

4. Cook slowly over low heat. Once the ingredients start to simmer, stir them while reciting aloud the ancient love poem, Song of Solomon (see Resources section).

5. Simmer the love potion for 90 minutes.

6. Strain the potion and place in a glass vial or jar.

7. Dab the potion onto your pulse points everyday during next week. If the object of your desire is near, the potion will draw them to you.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not re-brew the potion if your lover has not come to you within a week. The potion may take time to work and doubling the dosage may leave you with a stalker on your hands.
