Instructions

    • 1

Decide on a design. The design should complement your dress, shoes and veil, if wearing one. White beads on a silver base work well with traditional wedding dresses. Consider using a contrasting color such as bronze or even blue to coordinate with bridesmaid's dresses or even the color of the flowers being used. Beads need not be the same exact shade to look harmonious.

Gather your materials together and examine them to make sure there are no cracks in the beads and the wires appear to be in good shape.

    • 3

Cut out six wires of equal length with a pair of scissors or wire cutters. Wrap the wires tightly and space them equally around a tiara base. Leave a space in the middle for an additional row of beads and wire. Add a spot of hot glue to secure the wires to the base.

    • 4

Add a row of beads measuring roughly half an inch in diameter to the bottom of the tiara wires. Place a spot of hot glue on the back of the beads to keep in place. Continue adding beads until you have filled up roughly two-thirds of the wire. Make sure you secure each bead in place gently. Rub off excess glue with a clean cloth.

    • 5

Place a larger bead measuring roughly an inch in diameter at the end of the six rows of beads. The larger bead will help draw attention to the tiara and make it stand out. Add a larger drop of hot glue to make sure it doesn't fall out. Pull back the remaining bits of wire. Tuck in the ends to the rest of the tiara with more glue.

    • 6

Wrap a wire around the middle space of the tiara and secure it to the tiara base. Use beads measuring roughly an inch in diameter to complete the last wire on the tiara. Make sure to secure each bead with hot glue. Let dry overnight.
