According to NetDoctor.com, the average length of an erect penis is only six to seven inches. While porn stars and other males may be considerably larger, to compare your penis size to an abnormally large penis is like comparing the fact that you only have five fingers with somebody born with six fingers. Enlarging the penis in most cases is absolutely unnecessary, which is a good thing because the one proven method for enlarging a penis even has been called mostly illusion.

    The Facts About Penis Enlargement

  1. Step 1

Forget the pills you see advertised on the internet or in spam delivered to your email. Those who report that pills increase the size of their penises may actually simply be experiencing a side effect that causes blood flow. Once the effects of the pills wear off, the penis will shorten to its regular size again, and this can occur during the middle of intercourse. Ultimately, no medical study has shown that these pills increase penis size.

  2. Step 2

Don't buy into the totally ridiculous claims about creams that increase penis size. These claims face an obstacle that cannot be overcome. Even if an element in cream form could increase the size of the penis, that element would be carried away from the penis through the blood long before it could reach the area of the penis that affects erectile growth.

  3. Step 3

Consider surgery if you absolutely must do something to enlarge your penis. Just remember that the average erection is only six inches, meaning that even a four-inch penis is only slightly below average. Different surgeries are available for making the penis thicker or making the penis longer. Lengthening means that the two ligaments that connect the penis to the pubic bone will be cut with additional skin added. To thicken the penis requires removing fat from another part of the body with liposuction and injecting it into the penile shaft. The upshot is that you are not really making the penis longer, you are only exposing more of it. The fat injected to make a penis thicker can become lumpy or eventually disappear.

  4. Step 4

Realize that the first third of a woman's vagina are where most of her nerves are, and the deeper you penetrate the less you are actually stimulating that part of a woman's body. In addition, some women find a longer penis undesirable because it makes sex painful. Impregnation can occur if the penis enters into the vagina just two inches, so that should not be a concern.
