Instructions

1. Take pictures for the calendar. Choose different themes for the calendar, at the same time considering the months and holidays. Examples of themes or ideas include having everyone in the photo dress the same, an ocean motif for summer months and nature images that correspond with each month.

2. Install calendar-making software such as SmartDraw. SmartDraw is available to download free on its Web site. With SmartDraw, you can choose templates based on themes and colors.

3. Upload pictures on your computer using either a Micro SD chip or a USB cord, connecting the camera to the computer. Create a new folder for the pictures or add them to a previously made folder.

4. Transfer the pictures into SmartDraw or any other calendar-making software that is installed on your computer.

5. Pick the photos you want for your calendar. Place the pictures on the calendar as desired. Save the project.

6. Print the calendar on ledger-size paper. Make sure you use photo printing paper such as Kodak or Canon. Choose whether you want a glossy finish or a matte finish.
