This dog's face was morphed into a cartoon face.

Adobe Photoshop CS2, a graphic editing program, is used to edit and manipulate digital images. One editing feature allows the user to quickly morph a picture. Ears can be elongated, features warped and a pretty face transformed into something akin to an alien. If the picture you wish to morph isn't in digital format, scan it and save to your computer in JPEG digital format.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the digital image you wish to morph in Adobe Photoshop CS2.

    • 2

Click on "Filter" in the vertical menu at the top of the screen. In the drop-down menu that opens, click on "Liquify".

    • 3

Move the editing circle around with your cursor. Place it on the area you wish to morph. This is a circle (with a "+" in the center) that will appear on the screen, over the image.

    • 4

Press the mouse button and drag the cursor to stretch or pull the area in any direction. Release when you are finished with that area. Place on another area of the picture to morph and repeat.

    • 5

Click on the "OK" to save your changes and close the menu. Click "Cancel" if you want to close the "Liquify" menu without saving the changes.

    • 6

Save the new image by using the "Save As" command and creating a new file name. If you use the "Save" command or the original file name, the original image file will be copied over and you will only have one digital image: the morphed version.
