Step 1
Create a chomby on chomby day. On March 22 of every year, there is a chomby carnival throughout neopets. This is considered chomby day. On this day, at a secret time, you will be able to create a chomby through the "create a neopet" option on the menu. The times vary. You just have to keep going to the "create a neopet" area and checking until you see the chomby available.

Step 2
Catch a Mysterious Swirly potion while fishing. This potion can only be caught if you are at a fishing level of 80 or higher. To go fishing simply go to the Maraquan ruins from the Neopia map and click on the fishing button. If you catch the potion, you can use it on a neopet of your choice. The potion is not guaranteed to turn your pet chomby, but it will turn it to a limited edition pet at random.

Step 3
Use a magic potion on the neopet of your choice. You can purchase one of the magic potions from the Magical shop in Neopia central, the auctions, trading post, or a user's shop through the shop wizard. The types of potions that will work are called chomby morphing potions. The cheapest one is the blue chomby morphing potion, unless you can find a deal on something else.

Step 4
Use a magical plushie on the neopet of your choice. The plushies are called magical chomby plushies and they come in either blue, green, yellow or red. To use the plushie simply go into your inventory and have the neopet of your choice play with it.

Step 5
Adopt one from the pound or pound transfer. The pound may occasionally have a chomby in it. You have to be quick though, because limited edition pets are snatched up fast. If you can find a nice player on neopets they may have one up for adoption. Check the pound board on the forum to find one like this. If they let you adopt it they will send it to you with the pound transfer option.
