Step 1
First, get a feather. Try to get one that's not too small, and is colorful and pretty. Real feathers look great (you can find some near lakes and stuff), but you can purchase some at your favorite arts and crafts store. I personally love eagle and peacock feathers, so see if you can get some of those.

Next, you need ink. You can buy a bottle of ink for only a couple dollars at your local calligraphy store. Once you have the ink, take it and full it into a bottle.

Cut the feather's end in an angle so that the tip is sharp. Add any additional decorations to make your quill pretty.

And now you're done! That was easy! Now dip your quill into some ink, get some parchment, and start writing using your quill! It may be a bit hard at first, but with some practice you'll do marvelously. Good luck, and have fun!!!
