Step 1
To start off open your driver side car door.

Step 2
Look to your far down left side of your steering wheel.

Step 3
Find a lever that has picture painted of an open hood.

Step 4
Pull the lever outwards untill your hear the hood pop up and then let go.

Step 5
Proceed to the front of the car and move the lever under the hood sideways to the right or up to unhook the hood and pull the hood upwards to open.

Step 6
Some cars need supporting rods to keep the hood open. These supporting rods are usually located under the hood or to the side. In either case, the supporting rod must be positioned vertically on to a hole under the hood to secure a firm hold.

Step 7
Now you can look around under your hood to see, hear your engine and its other components
