Chest discomfort is the first obvious sign of a heart attack. The pain occurs in the middle of the chest and is described and a tight crushing pain with a lot of pressure.

The pain traditionally travels through the left arm. Heart attacks however can cause pain that travels to anywhere in the body such as the jaw, back, or other arm.

People suffering from a heart attack may also complain of being short of breath. It will be hard during a hard attack to feel like you are able to catch your breath.

Excessive sweating while experiencing the signs above is another sign of a heart attack. The sweating is typically excessive in the face.

Stomach upset sometimes leading to vomiting may also be present during a heart attack.

Dizziness or light-headedness is another common complaint during a heart attack. This may lead to a loss of consciousness.
