Place the cut tomatoes, onions and jalapenos inside the blender. Take two chipotle chilies and two tablespoons of chipotle sauce out of the can and place in blender as well. Add in the juice from the 2 limes and 1 teaspoon of salt. Do not blend just yet.

Check the boiling tomatoes. If the skin is peeling off of them, then they are ready to take out. Once the tomatoes are done boiling, with your tongs, remove from the pot and place them on a cutting board. Holding a tomato with the tongs still, cut out the core.

  5. Step 5

Once the salsa is free of tomato and onion chunks, it is ready to enjoy. Pour in to a bowl and serve. You can place the rest of the salsa into an empty glass jar and save for later or freeze it and use it as a marinade in the future. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you would like the salsa hotter, use three chilies. If you do not want it to be too hot, use one chili.
