Things You'll Need:
- Handheld scrub brush
- Liquid bleach OR
- Mildew Cleaner
- Water to rinse away chemicals

Step 1
You may choose to clean the shower curtain while it hangs in place or you may remove it from the shower rod and place flat on the floor. Make sure to turn on any ventilation fans or crack a window if you have one in the bathroom or room you are cleaning the curtain in.

Step 2
Generously apply liquid bleach or mold and mildew remover to curtain. Let sit for a few minutes to allow chemicals to break down dirt, mold and/or mildew.

Step 3
To clean curtain in place; using your free hand to make a firmer surface with which you scrub against while simultaneously holding the scrub brush in your other hand, scrub the curtain in an overlapping circular motion making sure to thoroughly clean the entire curtain surface. You may also lay the curtain on the floor, scrub clean then re-hang the curtain.

Step 4
Rinse shower curtain surface thoroughly clean.
