The ten pin in bowling can be a tricky fellow especially when left alone. Unfortunately this happens quite often, especially to right-handed bowlers. Follow these instructions and with a little practice you will be picking up these pesky pins with no trouble at all. Good luck!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Look at the dots on the approach and move so that you are standing four boards left of the furthest left dot.

  2. Step 2

Insert fingers into the ball and position your hand under the ball. Your thumb should be at the twelve o'clock position.

  3. Step 3

Look out onto the lane and pick your target spot. This should be between the center arrow and the arrow just left of the center arrow.

  4. Step 4

Release the ball with your thumb pointing at the ten pin. The ball should fall straight off of your hand. Be careful not to rotate your wrist as this will cause the ball to hook.
