Things You'll Need:
- shoulder pads
- 1/4 inch satin ribbon --small amounts (MINE WAS ATTACHED TO THE SHOULDER PADS)
- bottle lid from water bottle
- spare gold hoop earring
- tacky glue
-
Step 1
Illustration 1Snip the ribbon off of the shoulder pads. If you want to make an angel from shoulder pads that have been damaged when removed, you can usually hide that part when you do the assembly.
-
Step 2
You need to glue your water bottle cap inside the first shoulder pad. Place it at the top of the curved edge and fold into the cap and glue. See Illustration 1. Recycle those lids!
-
Step 3
Illustration 2Fold edges of shoulder pad in, tie at neck with a ribbon. See Illustration 2.
-
Step 4
Illustration 3Using the other shoulder pad, pinch or gather it up in the middle, tie with a piece of ribbon to secure. See Illustration 3.
-
Step 5
Illustration 4Glue this to the back of the angel. See Illustration 4.
-
Step 6
Illustration 5Attach the hoop earring for a halo, and you have an angel! If you would like, you could attach a ribbon or other hook for hanging. You can recycle an earring after you lose the other one and make an angel!
