1. To qualify for the Cash for Clunkers Program you must have an eligible clunker/trade-in vehicle. To qualify, the clunker/trade-in must meet the following qualifications:

3. 2: The clunker/trade-in must get 18 miles per gallon or less in combined highway/city rating — based on the "Estimated New EPA MPG" ratings. You can find the combined highway/city rating for your clunker at www.fueleconomy.gov.

4. 3: The clunker/trade-in must be drivable, insured and licensed for at least a year.
