Things You'll Need:
- Loofah or something similar to exfoliate
- Body Lotion
- Self tanner

Step 1
While showering, take EXTRA time in exfoliating your body to ensure all dead skin is properly removed, and shave after if needed. If you shave before you exfoliate you may be in some pain. Take a little extra care in exfoliating feet, ankles, hands, knees, wrists, elbows and any other areas prone to dry skin.

Step 2
Thoroughly dry your skin and apply a thin layer of body lotion on your body.

Step 3
Add an extra layer of body lotion to the following areas : Toes, feet, ankle, knees, elbows, fingers and hands. Those are the areas with the thinnest and roughest skin that cause blotchiness with self tanner.

Step 4
Carefully spray ( my preference) or apply self tanning lotion on your entire body , with a careful and small amount of the extra areas mentioned in Step 3. Wait for the product to dry , about 5 minutes , before getting dressed. Enjoy your self tan!
