Vacum CleanerFirst, make up a weekly list or chart which lists all the children’s name and what their duties are for the coming week. In addition, the parent needs to inspect the work that was done and feel free to make any comments or suggestions.

Glass CleanerIf the chores are done satisfactory then the parent needs to mark the chart as complete and satisfactory. Once in a while as some incentive the children should be rewarded with a small allowance of some kind.

Furniture CleanerMake sure each week you assign each child a different chore. Doing the same chore every week can become boring. Also, it is important to give children a feel of what it is like to alternate their responsibilities with other siblings.

In the end, you are teaching your child responsibility and it is letting them know that nothing comes easy and you must work for what you have. There is any number of chores that you can assign. Vacuuming, doing dishes, sweeping, dusting, raking leaves are all examples of household chores.
