Buying Old VHS Movies Online

1. Go to www.DistinctVideo.com. The home page of Distinct Video contains a list of movie categories such as Abbott & Costello or Kung Fu. Click on the category of movie you are interested in.

2. View the page that contains movies that fit into the category. To control how these movies are displayed, look to the drop down menu that says "Sort Items By." By clicking on this you can then display the contents of the page alphabetically or my popularity. You can also sort by reviews, but this seems to be the same as popularity.

3. Check to make sure the movie is available on VHS because Distinct Video also sells DVDs. You can tell if the movie is on VHS next to the name beneath the picture of the cover. Click on this thumbnail to take you to the review and information page.

4. Click on the "Buy This Now" button. When you click on this button you will most often be taken to Amazon.com, DVD Planet or other online stores. Technically you are actually buying these old VHS movies from a second party, but Distinct Video makes the process of finding movies on VHS much easier by placing the majority of movies still available on VHS in one convenient database.
