How to Buy Treadmill Parts
Having your own treadmill lets you exercise at home each day. If parts of your treadmill wear out, here are some tips for finding replacements.

1
The owner's manual should have a section on ordering replacement parts directly from the company in the event you cannot find the parts elsewhere.
-
2
Even if the store where you bought the treadmill does not carry replacement parts, the salesperson who sold the treadmill to you should have ideas on where to buy the parts you need.

3
Consider purchasing extra common parts for your treadmill when you make the original purchase. If you decide to sell your treadmill, use the extra parts as a selling benefit to any potential buyer. Ask your salesperson which parts wear out most often so you know which ones to buy.
-
4
Check the back of your owner's manual for a list of all of the parts along with the correct part number for each piece. You'll need this information, along with the make and model number of your treadmill when you order parts.

5
Find online stores such as Treadmill Doctor (see References below) to buy parts for your treadmill. These companies stock parts for many manufacturers and may have the part you need.
-
6
Ask if you can buy a used part if you fail to turn up the new part. Sometimes a company can find a used or refurbished part for your treadmill.
-
7
Inquire if any other part might work if you cannot find the part you need. Sometimes different brands of treadmills use interchangeable parts, so check this option.
