How to Fix Error 17 in NetZero Internet Explorer
NetZero is a nationwide Internet service provider that offers accelerated dial-up service. When an error occurs in the service's software, it is usually indicated by a message that may instruct the user in steps to correct the problem. Error 17 simply says that an error has occurred and the software will close. A possible cause of this error code may be that the NetZero software has had a conflict with another program or programs running on your computer. Rebooting, relaunching or installing updated software might be a solution for this error code.

From the Start menu, select "Shut Down"; then select "Restart." Let the computer reboot.

Launch NetZero after Windows restarts.

Type in your member ID and password; then click "Connect."

Select your access number if you are prompted to do so. Type in a new name for your phone list; then complete the access number setup.
