If you are interested in applying for unemployment benefits you must go to the Texas Worforce Commission website.

Next click on Unemployment Insurance information. Here you will be able to apply for benefits, payment request, claim and payment status and benefits estimator.

• Last employer's business name and address
• First and last dates (month, day and year) you worked for your last employer
• Number of hours worked and pay rate if you worked this week (including Sunday)
