Make an elegant bulletin board for mere pennies!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Wine Corks (used or purchased at a craft store)
  • Picture Frame
  • Craft Glue
  1. Step 1

Find an old desktop picture frame of any size and make sure it has the cardboard insert. Remove any glass or plastic covering from the picture frame. If the cardboard insert is missing, you can cut a piece of cardboard or sturdy cardstock to fit the dimensions of the picture frame. Place the insert in the picture frame - this will be the surface you will be covering with the wine corks.

  2. Step 2

Gather all your wine corks (used or new) and using a sharp knife, cut the wine corks in half - lengthwise.

  3. Step 3

Using the craft glue, apply glue to the cut halves of the wine corks and apply them in a geometric pattern on the cardboard/cardstock insert of the picture frame. Continue to apply the wine corks until the insert is full of corks. You may have to cut the corks into smaller pieces to fit properly in the frame.

  4. Step 4

Wait for the glue to dry and your desktop bulletin board is ready to be used!

Tips & Warnings
  • Cut the corks in such a way that the unique writing on the cork is visible once glued.
