How to Fix Yahoo! Messenger
Yahoo! Messenger has become a major part of life for many people. It is simple to use and is often more convenient than using a telephone--not to mention free of charge. However, like anything else running on a computer, it can encounter problems. This is typically due to a file being removed from the registry or something within the messenger becoming corrupted. Either way, because it is a small program, the best way to fix it is simply to remove the program and reinstall it.

Click "Start" and then "Control Panel." Once in the control panel double-click "Add or Remove Programs."

Scroll down until you find "Yahoo Instant Messenger." The list runs alphabetically, so it will be toward the very bottom of the list. Click it, then select "Remove" from the available options. Click "Yes" when asked if you're sure you want to remove the program, and Yahoo! Messenger will now be removed.

Download the Yahoo! Messenger software. This can done by either going to Yahoo! and searching for the instant messenger service, or by clicking the link in Resources.

Click "Download Now." You will be asked if you would like to save the file to the computer. To this, answer "Save File." The file will now download to the computer.

Open the downloaded file, which will launch the installation wizard. Follow the steps in the wizard to complete the setup. Launch Yahoo! Messenger and all errors and issues you were having will now be fixed.

You know I'm so sick of the same ole Bull Shit! This is no solution to fixing the problem with Yahoo messenger! I've done this uninstall re install like 10 times! I even tried to get my cacahe to zero none of the so called fixes have worked! What next do it all over again? Did that too! WTF people cant they fix this problem already I've been waiting over 2 weeks now said it would auto rest....LMAO when is this auto thingy going to happen? Next year? I love lestening to music whilest I surf but F this! Better off just dropping Yhoomessenger and going to Pandora...but I don't like having too many tabs open at one time!
