How to Wake Up Turmaculus Neopets
In the interactive online world of Neopia, Turmaculus is a gigantic petpet found in Meridell. Turmaculus sleeps most of the time but wakes up one hour a day to award users, Neopets and their petpets with fun items and events. These are just a few of the ways that you may be able to wake up Turmaculus.

1
Go to Neopets.com. Login to your Neopets account using the username and password you chose when originally registering your account.
-
2
Head to the land of Meridell to look for Turmaculus, the King of All Petpets.
-
-
3
Visit Turmaculus at the top of each hour, every hour. This approach, though time-consuming, is one of the best ways to make sure you'll be there when Turmaculus wakes up.
-
4
Make noise to try to wake Turmaculus. Your Neopet and petpet can perform several actions to try to wake Turmaculus. You can bang pots and pans, scream, blow your nose, sneeze, ring a bell, sing to him, pour cold water on him, tap dance or hit him with a stick. But, if Turmaculus does wake up, don't be surprised if he eats your petpet!

Try to predict when Turmaculus will be awake by using the Five-Hour Rule. This method only works after having woken Turmaculus. When you first wake Turmaculus make a note of the time. The next day, check to see if you can wake Turmaculus five hours before or five hours after the time he woke up the previous day. So if Turmaculus woke up at 5 p.m. on the first day, you would try to wake him at 12 p.m. and 10 p.m. The a.m. and p.m. aspect is randomized, so you would also want to try to wake Turmaculus at 12 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Tips & Warnings
Use the buttons under Turmaculus to tell if Turmaculus has already been up for the day. Two buttons underneath him mean that he hasn't gotten up yet that day. Only one button underneath Turmaculus means he got up, and you missed him.
Be careful when trying to wake up Turmaculus. If he wakes up in a bad mood, he may eat your petpet! When visiting Turmaculus, try to bring less valuable petpets.
