These instructions are the third installment in my quest to give the expensive hotels of the world some new ideas for decorating the end of the toilet paper roll.

The flower is separate so it could be used on it's own to decorate something other than a toilet paper roll.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Toilet paper
  1. Step 1

Take a single square of toilet paper. If it's two ply separate it into two. Start rolling the corners between your thumb and finger. It helps if your hands are slightly wet, like just after you've washed them.

  2. Step 2

Keep rolling along all the edges until you get it to this shape. Try to keep it reasonably even all the way around.

  3. Step 3

Fold up one end unevenly with the points lined up.

  4. Step 4

Fold over the shorter tip a bit. This keeps the stamen from looking too pointy.

  5. Step 5

Twist the shorter piece of toilet paper to form the calla lily's stamen.

  6. Step 6

Wrap the petal around it's self to make it look more like a calla lily flower.

  7. Step 7

Fold a pocket on the end of the toilet paper, and put the toilet paper calla lily flower into it.
