Things You'll Need:
- Tomatoes
- Medium Sauce Pan
- Zip Lock Bags or Containers with lids
- Water
-
Step 1
Pick all of the red tomatoes from your garden. Fill the sauce pan with the tomatoes that you want to freeze and enough water to cover the tomatoes. Turn the stove on medium heat and cook the tomatoes until the water is boiling.
-
Step 2
Once the water has boiled, turn the stove off and drain the water out. Let the tomatos sit for a minute so you don't burn your hands.
-
Step 3
Cut the tomatoes in half and peel the skin off. The skin should slide off very easily. This will be very messy so have an extra bowl handy to throw the skins in. Put the tomatos into a zip lock bag or seeled container and place them in your freezer.

on 7/26/2009 It is very good. We made sauce all winter with it. We also used it in big batches of Chilli.
