How to have a fun Christmas for a large family on a budget

Christmas is right around the corner, and of course you have your little ones gifts taken care of (if you have little ones). However, if you are like most families, on Christmas, you usually have a large gathering with all family, and a dinner. You know that gifts are usually given, but things are getting tight. You can be sure to have fun this holiday season, without worrying about over spending, or forgetting anyone on your list.

Things You'll Need:

• a gift from each person in the family, with a spending limit (20 dollars is fine)

1. Each person attending the party will bring a gift. Call each person that is going to the Christmas party, and let them know they only have to bring one gift from each person attending the Christmas party.

2. Make numbers out for each person that will be showing up on separate pieces of paper. If you have 20 people attending, write the numbers 1-20 on separate pieces of paper, and put them in a small container.

3. As each guest arrives, have them place their gift in a designated area, and draw a number.

4. When everyone has showed up, and drew a number, it is time for game play. The person holding the number one gets to choose a gift, and unwrap it, and show everyone.

5. The person that hold number 2, can take the gift from person number one, or choose a gift. If the person that holds the number 2 decides to take the present from person number one, person number one can then choose a different gift.

6. 
    

   Person number 3 gets to choose a gift, or steal someone else's. This game continues until all of the numbers have been drawn.
