  1. Step 1

The first step to success with you professor is to show up to class on time. Professor are usually very strict on students walking in late and it doesn't make a good impression. If its your first class, make sure you know where the classroom is ahead of time. Its a good idea to visit the building you'll be attending the day before class starts. Its also important to get there 2-5 minutes before class starts. This allows you to greet the professor and get settled in your seat without disturbing the class.

A great way to impress you professor is to participate in class. When the professor ask questions in class, be sure to volunteer your opinions and answers. Even if your not sure your answer is completely correct, a well presented attempt to a question is appreciated and looked upon well. Be careful not to be over-assertive in the class. Asking to many questions can be a disruption to the class.

  3. Step 3
